School spirit?
I loved going to this high school. I transferred here halfway through my sophomore year from York High school, Marshwood was the right high school for me. York High wasn't geared towards kids who had trouble at home, or kids who had a mental illness that held them back from their true potential. I had a hard home life, and became very depressed, and started having panic attacks quite frequently. While I was at York, if I had a panic attack during a class, or test, it wouldn't matter to the majority of teachers. I couldn't get caught up on my work because of the amount of stress I was under. No one at York High school helped me, so I turned to Marshwood. While still living in York, and making the 30 minute commute to South Berwick, this school gave me what I needed. I had a guidance counselor that cared for my well being, and had more than enough help from the staff and all of the faculty to ensure that I was getting enough from my school experience. I loved going to this school, it will always stay as the best school in my heart. Without this school, I probably wouldn't be applying to colleges with confidence as I am now. Thank you Marshwood.
